Education
We believe that we fulfill a social role that goes beyong the creation of jobs, since respect for people is one of our fundamental pillars. Our support to communities is aimed mainly at the educational area, because we are certain that this is the most important area for a better future for Chile.
The purpose of Fundación Agrosuper is to provide quality education and formation to children from low-income families at the location of Lo Miranda, in the 6th Region. In this sector we have the Los Cipreces School, a private, free institution receiving a partial state subsidy.
Along the same lines, Agrosuper maintains and develops the program “Read to Grow”, together with the Corporación Pro-O’Higgins; this program has benefited more than 4,000 students and encourages reading habits among school-age children and community organizations by means of school libraries.
