One of Agrosuper’s aim is to respect people. We have taken on a social responsibility. We respect the environment as well as the fact of being at peace with our neighbors. We support the community, the local church local and under privileged children.

2. Read to Develop Program.
The main objective of Agrosuper Foundation is to provide quality education and bringing up of under privileged children from Lo Miranda, in the O’Higgins Region. Agrosuper owns a private school, free of charge, for under privileged children from the community of Lo Miranda (Rancagua). Since year 2002 more than 800 boys and girls receive a full education based on academic excellence and moral values. Apart from promoting the education of the children we have activity programs for the parents, as a way of reinforcing the all rounder up bringing of our students.
On the same lines as on education, Agrosuper supports and develops along with the Corporación Pro-O’Higgins a program called Read to Develop, whose purpose is to improve the levels of reading speed and comprehension of 1.800 students, apart from promoting the reading habit in the whole school community and communal organizations throughout the opening and promotion of the school library. Since year 2007 the following institutions are part of the program: Lo Miranda School from Doñihue; Colegios Jesús Andino and Cristo del Parque, both from the locality of Codegua; Bellavista School from Coya in Machalí area and the Amelia Lynch de Lyon School in Pichidegua, “Violeta Parra” locality of Peralillo; “ Esmeralda” School in Rengo; “Mónica Silva” institution in La Estrella ; Nihue and Llancay Schools in San Vicente and Requegua and in San Pedro (Metropolitan Region).
This program consists of a weekly work performed with the students at the libraries of 11 educational establishments. The children are allowed to take books on loan to their homes. The idea of incorporating cultural activities such as drama performances has also been considered.
1. Environmental education to schools from rural areas, in the localities of the central area of Chile (Regions V, VI, and Metropolitan Region).
2.Visits to our plants from council and private schools, higher education Chilean and foreign Institutions, and social organizations (around 16.000 persons in year 2008).
