Sopraval was founded in 1967 due to the vision of a group of businessmen in the Valparaíso area, hence becoming a leading company in the production and trade of turkey meat.
As from early 1996, a high percentage of Sopraval business became part of Agrosuper. Sopraval is the second largest turkey meat producer in Latin America and it was the first one to export turkey meat to Europe. It has a 70% of the market share in Chile, as well as an annual production of 60.000 tons and sales that border the 180 million dollars per year.
Sopraval leading management allows to control all phases of the productive cycle, complying with strict sanitary regulations that ensure the top quality of all its products.
It has more than 90 nursing and breeding pavilions, food factories and slaughter plants in the Valparaíso region. In all our premises we work under the most strict safety standards and food innocuousness, therefore guaranteeing the elaboration of fresh Sopraval turkey products to be consumed in Chile and the rest of the world. The company has achieved the ISO 9001, ISO 14001, HACCP, British Retail Consortium (BRC) standard certificates as well as the Clean Production Agreement ( Acuerdo de Producción Limpia - APL).
